Gender
Male
Age
50

Description

50 year old Asian male who had Primary Rhinoplasty with another surgeon utilizing an L-shaped implant. This implant became infected, causing implant displacement through the nasal tip. As a result, the tip healed with an apparent dimple. The patient also suffered 2 additional complications: a deviated bridge and a Pollybeak Deformity. Dr. Slupchynskyj performed Revision Rhinoplasty, reconstructed the pinched nasal tip, and removed the dimple. He reconstructed the nasal dorsum with the customized silicone SLUPimplant™. Septal cartilage grafts were used to reconstruct the tip and restore normal aesthetic nasal anatomy.
