
Born and raised in Manhattan, Dr. Slupchynskyj received his undergraduate degree at Fordham University where he was President of Emergency Medical Services, member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society, was awarded the M. Passarelli Science Award, and graduated magna cum laude. He then received his medical degree at New York Medical College, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. Dr. Slupchynskyj conducted his General Surgery Residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City, and his Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the preeminent New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, also in New York City. Following his Residency, Dr. Slupchynskyj was selected for an intensive fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Slupchynskyj is Board Certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology, is a Diplomat with the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a member of the following Societies: American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology, New York County Medical Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology Allergy, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Slupchynskyj has been asked to speak at numerous meetings of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery on his innovative surgical techniques and scientific studies.
Dr. Slupchynskyj’s Facial Plastic Surgery practice specializes in both surgical and non-invasive, or non-surgical, solutions for the aging face. Surgical procedures which Dr. Slupchynskyj has extensive experience in and proven superior results include: Mini Facelift; Mini Suture Facelift. Dr. Slupchynskyj is also an expert in non-invasive procedures and was selected by Allergan to be a Facial Plastic Surgeon in New York City to first offer live demonstrations of their newest and most cutting-edge injectable filler, JUVÉDERM®, prior to its debut on the market in 2007.
