Lower Lid Skin Pinch Plastic Surgery is designed to remove mild crepe-iness and/or a small amount of excessive skin on the lower eyelids. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. Typically, the Lower Lid Skin Pinch involves literally “pinching” of skin under the lash line using a special instrument called the Brown Forcep, and then removal of the skin using a fine sharp scissor. The incision is closed with an extremely thin suture which dissolves on its own. Depending upon your specific case, Dr. Slupchynskyj may also recommend a Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) to achieve the best results for you.
