WHAT IS SILIKON®™ 1000?
Silikon®™ 1000 is a medical-grade pure form of silicone. Silikon®™ 1000 is FDA Approved only for treatment in retinal detachment; however, Silikon®™ 1000 has been used by Cosmetic Physicians as an injectable filler for 30 years with good results. It was the first injectable filler ever used and if done correctly, comes with minimal to no risk.
HOW DOES SILIKON®™ 1000 WORK?
Silikon®™ 1000 provides a very natural-looking permanent solution. The secret to a great result is utilizing the micro droplet technique, where very small quantities (.01cc) of Silikon®™ 1000 are injected into an area with a limit of 1cc total, and treatments spaced over one month. Using Silikon®™ 1000 in this fashion prevents complications and is essential for an excellent result.
Your body forms collagen around Silikon®™ 1000 and eventually the desired look is maintained. The amount of collagen formed depends upon your own body's sensitivity to Silikon®™ 1000. No skin test is required.

Most patients remark that there is a minimal discomfort comparing the sensation to a bug bite. No sedation for anesthetic is required and you resume normal activities immediately. There is no downtime.
HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MY SILIKON®™ 1000 TREATMENT TO LAST?
Silikon®™ 1000 injections are a non surgical permanent solution. Touch up treatments may be desired to prolong and further enhance the look, however, one treatment can deliver the desired results right away.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS TO SILIKON®™ 1000 TREATMENTS?
Results from Silikon®™ 1000 are technique dependent. If injected incorrectly, abnormal lumps and granulomas can form. Temporary swelling of the injection site is the most common side effect. You may experience tenderness or redness immediately following the procedure. More serious complications include, but are not limited to, swelling, bruising and infection. There are no reported allergic reactions.
