Silikon 1000 is a medical-grade pure form of silicone. Silikon 1000 is FDA approved only for treatment in retinal detachment, however, has been used by Cosmetic physicians as an injectable filler for 30 years with good results. ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS TO SILIKON 1000 TREATMENTS?
Results from Silikon 1000 are technique dependent. If injected incorrectly, abnormal lumps and granulomas can form. Temporary swelling of the injection site is the most common side effect. You may experience tenderness or redness immediately following the procedure. More serious complications include, but are not limited to, swelling, bruising and infection. There are no reported allergic reactions.
